Pre Collection Fall 2019
Fall Winter 2019-20 - RETRO/FUTURE - The Nico Giani collection is characterized by a blend of old-fashioned "retro styles" with futuristic mood. Nico explores the themes of tension between past and future, he was inspired by the retrofuturism trend as an exploration of past visions of the future. Nico combined acrylics details with croc, python and flat textures. The palette takes its inspiration by 80's 90's interior design, focusing on bold colors as brick, mustard, petrol and natural shades with a pop touch, neon pink and emerald. Nico Giani belongs to the past and to the future, creating products which are familiar yet at the same time new and fresh. This is the strength of the brand. It appeals to the innate nostalgia that exists within all of us for elements of the past, whilst simultaneously igniting our desire for something entirely original. We recognize the form but we see it a way that we never have done before. Nico believes that it is possible to create a new aesthetic code by redistributing and regenerating elements of the past with a new, radical perspective.

Pre Spring Summer 2019
Nico was inspired by timeless design of Ettore Sottsass: shapes and palettes which seem to have an ageless appeal, in order to create the feeling that you’ve seen this style before, while offering you something totally unique and modern at the same time.
The result is a collection that has a sweet naivety as it combines classic 50s and 60s silhouettes with a vivid color palette and not forgetting a dash of surrealism a la Miles Aldridge.
Fall Winter 18/19
For this season, Nico Giani was inspired by the works of Brancusi. His primitivist sculptures are a reference for bags volumes and structure.
We will find also traces of his style in the use of colors composed by muted pink, amber, dark brown, dusty green, mustard and warm bourdeaux and some black touches. Nico Giani has introduced two material, ten different colors of suede and seven colors of Elba leather, that call to mind earth shape and textures.
